Duck Hunting Details.

Located in the heart of the Rolling Plains flyway, our Circle Bar Ranch Duck Hunting provides a great way to experience excellent wing shooting. We typically hunt over numerous well scouted ranch tanks/ponds from heated duck blinds. Experienced water fowl guides and trained gun dogs round out the overall waterfowl adventure. We usually offer hunts that require no long walks or heavy waders.

One of the biggest differences with our ranch's duck hunts is the annual Mallard Duck Migration we see happen each season on the Circle Bar Ranch. The Mallard Migration occurs around the middle of November and generally lasts until the first substantial freezing weather event. When this migration occurs, there are huge numbers of Mallard Ducks on nearly every spot of water that our ranch holds. Limit duck hunting occurs very quickly when these conditions occur and the fun factor is high.

We also offer Combination Dove and Teal Duck Hunts with Duck hunting in the morning, followed by Dove hunting in the late afternoon to early evening. These combination Teal and Dove hunts are very popular, and the season overlap is limited, so be sure to book your reservation well in advance.
